Body of Work Heritage Podcast
Body of Work is the heritage podcast from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. This podcast is all about celebrating collaborations and celebrating them through medical heritage. Each episode will feature a different professional who has worked with us here at the heritage department; we chat about their work, and what drew them to it. We also geek out a bit on medical heritage! Feel free to email us with any questions: library@rcpsg.ac.ukFollow us on twitter: @rcpsgheritage

Episode 1
This week’s guest is Marianne Macrae. Marianne is a writer from Edinburgh who recently won the Scottish Book Trust New Writer Award for Poetry. She recently completed a PhD in Creative Writing researching talking animals in poetry, which was funded by the Scottish Graduate School for Arts & Humanities. Marianne worked with us at the College a few years ago, looking at the life and pioneering work of Joseph Lister. We chat about poetry, Lister’s love of fighting germs, and who we think the real Jack the Ripper was.
