Body of Work Heritage Podcast
Body of Work is the heritage podcast from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. This podcast is all about celebrating collaborations and celebrating them through medical heritage. Each episode will feature a different professional who has worked with us here at the heritage department; we chat about their work, and what drew them to it. We also geek out a bit on medical heritage! Feel free to email us with any questions: library@rcpsg.ac.ukFollow us on twitter: @rcpsgheritage

Episode 4
This week’s guest is Lucy Threadgold, a historian of medicine currently based in Glasgow. Lucy took part in one of our research events, the Hackathon, and has also helped us with our research into our exhibition Great Minds: the Brain in Medicine, Surgery, and Psychiatry. Her research has focused on asylum architecture during the 18th century. We chat about mental health, asylum management and architecture, and how we can learn from the past to better today.
